Kevin Costner and Amber Heard star in the action thriller 3 Days To Kill and EnStars exclusively obtained the suspenseful trailer.

In the film, Costner plays Ethan Runner, a Secret Service Agent who wants to give up his job to spend more time with his estranged daughter Zooey (Hailee Steinfeld).

"I don't want to spend the rest of my life killing for you," he tells Heard's character, whom he works for. "I just want to spend a little more time with my daughter and my wife."

His wife, played by Connie Nielsen, asks him to watch their daughter while she's away in London for work. She later asks him, "Are you really done working for them?"

But, luck is against Ethan who suddenly becomes very sick. Heard's character offers him a drug that could spare his life. In turn, Ethan has to complete one last mission, which entails capturing one of the world's most dangerous terrorists. He is given three days.

In the meantime, he also has to take care of his teenage daughter for the first time in ten years. However, his daughter has no clue the mission her father has to take care of.

Director McG, who spoke about the film with Yahoo Movies, said that 3 Days To Kill goes deeper than just the action.

 "You have a guy that's been out in the field with a very, very strong sense of duty who has now come home to try to reconnect with his daughter, and it's emotional," he said. "It's a very, very emotional thing. A film that begins with an action bang and ultimately brings you to tears I think is a rare thing. I'm hoping we've achieved that."

3 Days To Kill is expected to hit theaters in February 2014.
