It was recently reported that the trailer for the film was the most anticipated ad at the Super Bowl according to a Fandango poll.

Fandango conducted the poll asking the website's users to vote for the movie teaser-trailer they were looking forward to seeing during the commercial breaks during the Super Bowl. Transformers: Age of Extinction took the lead with 48 percent of the votes in its favor.

"Transformers movies have always been huge crowd pleasers, and the addition of Mark Wahlberg certainly brings more anticipation to the fourth film," Dave Karger, Fandango's chief correspondent, said. "Plus, fans haven't seen any previews for Transformers 4 yet, so it's the biggest true debut of the Super Bowl."

Michael Bay announced that the trailer would be unveiled at the 2014 Super Bowl on his website on Dec. 5.
