Jessica Simpson gave the world another glimpse of her daughter Maxwell last night by posting an intimate close-up photograph of the wide-eyed baby on her Twitter account.

Simpson added the caption "Howdy friends" to suggest her beautiful baby was saying hello to the world.

The picture Simpson shared of her 2 month-old with her 5 million Twitter followers inspired many of her fans to retweet the picture.

Simpson's fans had plenty to say online about the color of Maxwell's hair- the orange tuft was quite a surprise considering Simpson has always had long blonde hair.

Jessica, 31, who has her own line of hair extensions, styled baby Maxwell's hair into an adorable Mohawk style.

This isn't the first time we've seen baby Maxwell. Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson posed with their newborn daughter in May for an exclusive People magazine cover story where they were reportedly paid $800,000.

With her big brown eyes and full-lipped pout, Maxwell might have a future as a child model appearing in commercials and print ad campaigns like her famous mother has.

With Simpson running a near billion-dollar clothing line named after her, a stint in modeling shouldn't be hard for baby Maxwell to get.

Jessica Simpson is a singer, actress, model, television personality and successful fashion designer .

She has also launched a line of hair and beauty products with her hairstylist Ken Paves and has a fragrance line in addition to her successful fashion and accessory lines.

Several months ago, Jessica completed a stint as a mentor on the NBC show "Fashion Star" with supermodel Elle MacPherson. The reality show was a competition for fashion designers competing to have their clothing line bought by retailers - including H&M and Macy's.

Jessica gave birth to Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1 this year.  She and her fiancé, a professional football player, announced their engagement in November, 2010.
