"Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum showed off his feminine side on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" dressed in drag as a teenage girl.

Tatum joined the talk show host who was also dressed in drag for a sketch called "EW!".

Tatum was wearing a brown wig with a large yellow flower hair clip, lip gloss and a dress with yellow tights. Fallon wore a long blonde wig with braces and a floral print dress.

Tatum danced in the segment, but did not use the same moves peformed as a male stripper for his latest movie "Magic Mike", which is opening in theaters today nationwide.

"Magic Mike" is very much about the beauty of bodies in motion and the deep cinematic joys of watching good-looking people perform extraordinary physical feats," said The New York Times.

In another article, The New York Times reports that Tatum says the story is loosely based on his stint as a stripper in Florida when he was 18, as a college dropout who slept on his sister's couch. The movie's title refers to the name of the stripper played by Tatum.

His onscreen mentor and club owner Dallas is played by Matthew McConaughey. "CSI: Miami" star Alex Rodriguez also plays a stripper in the film.

According to the movie website Deadline.com, "Magic Mike" is "a story of friendship set in the world of male strippers."
