Miley Cyrus cut off her blond mid-length locks for a punk pixie haircut in platinum blond. Fans and celebrities have criticized the drastic look, including music artist Tyler The Creator, via Twitter. However, rapper, Drake actually defended the young actress on Monday night.

According to WonderWall, Tyler posted: "Your barber is an a**hole," regarding the new haircut. He later deleted his post. 

Later, Drake made a remark towards all the haters who have responded harshly at Cyrus' cut. "You guys laugh at Miley Cyrus' hair. Meanwhile, she's laughing at your bank account," he said on Twitter.

Actress, Jackee Harry, also took to Twitter to express her approval of the look. "Am I The Only One Who Actually Likes Miley Cyrus' New/Edgy Cut? #HannahHasLeftMontana." 

After debuting her pixie cut via Twitter with a series of pictures on Sunday, the 19 year-old posted some words of wisdom for critics. 

"My dad Billy Ray Cyrus used to tell me, 'opinions are are like a--holes --everybody has one.' LOVE my hair. Feel so happy, pretty, and free," she posted on Twitter.

E! Online reported exclusively that Cyrus is set to appear on CBS' hit show "Two And A Half Men."

A source told the website that the former Disney star will guest star on several episodes playing a new girl who becomes the love interest of Jake Harper, played by Angus T. Jones.

Her character will be "sexy" and "rife with comedy," according to the source.

Cyrus is engaged to marry "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth.

The couple met in 2009 on the set of the film they starred in together, "The Last Song." Helmsworth proposed to the pop star on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring.

Hemsworth will appear in the upcoming "Expendables 2" with Sylvester Stallone slated for release this week.

Liam, the former Australian model, is the younger brother to actor Chris Hemsworth who plays the title character in "Thor" and "The Avengers." Liam is currently filming "Paranoia" set for release in 2013.
