Many of the biggest movies, television shows and actors of the year received Golden Globe nominations this year.

Announced on Thursday, the nominees include several new shows - True Detective and The Affair - as well as older ones - Orange is the New Black and Girls. Buzzed-about movies like Boyhood and Foxcatcher were also recognized in several categories.

The 72nd annual award show will air live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel's Grand Ballroom on Sunday, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are set to host for the third year in a row.
