Christina Applegate blasted the paparazzi on Twitter on Aug. 24.

The "Up All Night" star revealed an outing with her 1-and-a-half-old daughter Sadie Grace took a turn for the worst after they found themselves surrounded by photographers, according to GossipCop.

The star began her rant with: "I want my daughter to live a normal life. I want her to feel free to be who she wants, so paparazzi stop taking pics of her! Enough."

She then went on to sympathize with the Jackson children who have been targeted by the media.

"It's times like these where I understand why Michael Jackson had his kids covered they were able to be anonymous until they decided to be public. We need a law against this! Taking pics of kids is sick!" she said.

According to Digital Spy, Applegate explained how fed-up she is with celebrity-obsessed culture.

"We excelled on the merit of our work, not by what gown we were wearing. And those who use paparazzi to further their careers are going to have a rude awakening when their talent doesn't get them anywhere," she said.

"When I chose to be an actor we didn't have celebrities," Applegate tweeted. "We had actors. Not people who wanted fame. I blame those people who need fame."

Applegate later wrote about fame opportunists, but those posts have since been deleted.

The actress then apologized to her followers and wrote, "Sorry everyone. I'm pissed. Just imagine for one second you having fun with ur kid in the park and a bunch of a holes start surrounding you and freaking ur kid out...Now back to funny pics of cats."
