While fans of the Indiana Jones franchise were surprised by the news that Harrison Ford could be replaced in an upcoming fifth installment, they may not need to be worried that the movie won't be quite as good as some of the ones in the past.

Chris Pratt Replacing Harrison Ford As Indiana Jones?

Disney is reportedly eyeing Chris Pratt to replace the 72-year-old veteran actor, and though it is still a bit hard to imagine someone filling Ford's shoes in a role he originated, if someone has to-Pratt could very well be the perfect choice.

Here are four reasons why Pratt is actually a perfect fit to be the next Indiana Jones:

1. He's kind of hard not to like

Pratt is one of the most down-to-earth celebrities out there-despite being married to Anna Faris and being close buds with some of his fellow Marvel Universe action heroes. And aside from being down-to-earth, he's also charitable (in case you haven't heard about the big Super Bowl bet between himself and Chris Evans).

2. He's a bona fide action star

Um, did you see him as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy? There's no doubt he could definitely pull off a role like Indiana Jones.

3. He's already a part of the Disney family

Marvel is already a part of the Disney family, meaning Pratt's already in with network execs. And Disney is producing the new Indiana Jones. They already made magic in a movie with Pratt in one of the leading roles-there's no reason to think they won't be able to do it again.

4. Fellow Celebrities are already responding to the idea in a positive way

The buzz about him taking the role has had some pretty positive responses-so if Disney really wants to replace Harrison Ford, they may want to consider someone who is going to get people talking in a big way.
