Rihanna stepped out for dinner at her favorite restaurant in Los Angeles sporting an unlikely fashion accessory.

The "We Found Love" singer sported a set of gold grill teeth in her mouth when she arrived at Girgio Baldi with her new short pixie haircut while wearing a pair of short shorts.

The look has been deemed "unattractive" in several reports.

The pop star's new fashion accessory has been compared to her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte choice of wearing the staple that is favored in the hip-hop music community.

Lochte made global headlines during the London Games when he slipped on a pair of removable diamond grill teeth and held up the gold medal he won next to his bedazzled smile in front of flashing paparrazi. Lochte's custom diamond grill were customized by 90's rapper Paul Wall to represent the American flag.

"If you Google Ryan Lochte, Google will finish your search entry with 'grill.' There was already pictures of him on the Internet with the other grill we made for him, so we didn't think the American flag grill was going to be as big of a deal as it is," Paul Wall said according to Rap Fix.

"For those who don't know what a grill is, it's basically a retainer filled with diamonds," Lochte told his fans via a YouTube video in 2011.

Brown wore a set of gold grill teeth at his album release party in early July.

The "Look At Me Now" singer arrived at the event in Hollywood to celebrate his fifth album "Fortune" at AV nightclub on July 3.

Reports are speculating that Rihanna and Brown are having a subliminal tete a tete with each other.

The Bajan beauty posted a photo of her new "under boob" tattoo on Instagram on Sunday, Sept. 9, a week after Brown stepped out wearing a new tattoo on his neck. Brown's neck tattoo made headlines on Tuesday, Sept.11, because the ink job features a woman that appears to have a disfigured face. Reports speculated it was a battered Rihanna following Brown's violent assault on her in 2009.

Brown's publicist told TMZ  his tattoo is a "sugar skull" (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. "It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported."

Rihanna's tattoo, a kneeling Isis with her wings spread out directly under her breasts was a tribute to her late grandmother.
