Nicole Kidman is known as Hollywood royalty, but she'll become a real princess in her next film.

Kidman, 45, will portray Grace Kelly in the upcoming move "Grace of Monaco," which is filming now and set to hit theaters sometime in 2014.

Photographers caught Kidman looking like the spitting image of Kelly on the "Grace of Monaco" set recently as she shot scenes aboard a yacht in Nice, France.

With her bright blonde hair in a glamorous updo, Kidman wore a floor-length gold gown and white fur shawl, which she accessorized with an elaborate gold necklace and white gloves that reached her elbows.

"Grace of Monaco" tells the story of Kelly, a woman from Philadelphia who became a superstar Hollywood actress before becoming a real princess when she married Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956. The film focuses on Kelly's relationship with Prince Rainier and French statesman Charles de Gaulle during a dispute over tax laws in the 1960s.

Kidman recently opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about her work on "Eyes Wide Shut," the final film from the late Stanley Kubrick.

The film is famous for its steamy sex scenes, and Kidman said the prolific filmmaker had to work closely with her to convincer her to go along with those types of scenes with her then-husband, Tom Cruise.

"Stanley had to coax me into some of the sexuality in the film in the beginning, but we shot things that were a lot more extreme that didn't end up in the movie," Kidman wrote. "I did feel safe — I never felt it was exploitive or unintelligent. He was very different with women than he was with men. He has daughters, so he was very paternal with me."
