Glen Rogers Serial Killer Murdered Nicole Brown Simpson, Claims New Discovery Documentary [WATCH]
A new crime documentary to air Wednesday on Discovery explores a theory that serial killer Glen Rogers - not O.J. Simpson- killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
The documentary "My Brother the Serial Killer," a co-production of Essential Media & Entertainment and Investigation Discovery, is set to air at 9 PM. It describes how Rogers bragged that he had killed "more than 70 people" and even claimed responsibility for the murders of Simpson and Goldman.
"Receipts show that Glen was working as a housepainter in L.A. in 1994, and family members claimed Glen told them that he was working for Nicole Brown Simpson, and that he said she was rich and he was going to 'take her down,' " according to a preview release of the documentary by Discovery.
Glen reportedly provided a detailed account of the Goldman-Brown Simpson slayings to criminal profiler Anthony Meoli, according to the network. He is now awaiting execution on Florida's death row.
According to the documentary, Rogers knew O.J. Simpson. Rogers said Simpson had paid him to break into Nicole's house to steal a $20,000 pair of earrings for the former football star. Rogers also claims Simpson told him to kill "the bitch" if necessary.
The documentary also provides Rogers' family perspective and uncovers his past to reveal how he became a smooth-talking killer. Rogers has been directly tied to five homicides, and is suspect in over a dozen others across the country. He is currently in a death sentence in Florida.
After Simpson and Goldman were murdered in June of 1994, Glen embarked on a cross-country killing spree that garnered national news coverage and landed him on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List. Finally he was captured in November 1995 and received death sentences in California and Florida.
