Shayne Dahl Lamas' Step-Mother Is Pregnant With Her Child

After a near-fatal ectopic pregnancy last year, Shayne's 29-year-old stepmother, Shawna Craig, wife of Lorenzo Lamas, 57, gave birth to her son, Lyon Lamas-Richie.

"The new bundle of joy arrived via natural water birth and everyone is healthy and happy,” a source close to Shayne, 29, and her husband, Nik, 36, revealed to Closer Magazine on Wednesday.

Following Shayne's 2014 pregnancy, Craig, who works for a fertility center in Los Angeles, offered to carry her second child for her.

 

"'Shayne was really broken [after losing her child], but she didn't understand her options. That's my world - I understood her options," Craig explained at the time, according to a report by the UK's Daily Mail Online.

Lorenzo spoke out as well, telling Closer, "'My wife is going to give birth to a child that we're not going to bring home, but it's my grandchild, so we are going to have a great relationship with him and see him a lot... Our whole family is onboard. I am looking forward to being a grandparent again - we are going to have fun with this little guy."

“Shawna’s not my stepmother, she’s like my soul sister,” Shayne added. “I look at her like an angel that blessed my whole family, including my father. I have just been given the biggest blessing in the world and I’ll always be grateful.”
