With Black Friday officially kicking off the holiday shopping season in a few weeks, several business' are looking to capitalize on shoppers who want to beat the crowds by taking advantage of earlier sales for Veterans Day.  

With several federal employees receiving the day off as the country honors those who have served in the military, retailers are hoping to lure them in with the promise of huge sales and discounts, as well as extra benefits for service men and women. Several deals are also being extended, with offers beginning as early as the weekend before the mid-week holiday.  

Stores offering discounts in honor of Veterans Day include: 

Aeropostale: Through Veterans Day, take an additional 30 percent off everything including sale items and other markdowns using code EMPLOYEE30 during what the company is calling their Employee Discount sale. 

Advance Auto Parts: Use promo code M51 through Nov. 24 to receive 15 percent off $100.

Amazon: Use code 20VETERANS at checkout and receive 20 percent off eligible items 

BArney's Warehouse: Take an additional 40 percent off clearance and regularly priced items

Bath and Body Works: Using code WHATATREAT , take $10 off $30 and get free shipping on $50 orders 

Bebe: Take an Additional 50 percent off already reduced prices 

Bloomingdale's: Use code HOLIDAY to take 25 percent off. Plus, Loyalists get a $25 reward card for every $100 spent
