Britney Spears was spotted riding around in Los Angeles with a tiny set of wheels, reported by US Weekly.

On Monday Feb. 4, the 31-year-old was photographed in her eco-friendly vehicle Mercedes-Benz Smart car for a drive to a business meeting. With her bodyguard right next to her in the passenger seat, the pop sensation cruised down the street with her dark sunglasses on.

The past few months have been rough for the mother-of-two as she officially quit her job as a judge on the X Factors on Jan.11, despite rumors that she was going to be soon fired. "I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens, but it's time for me to get back in the studio," she said in a statement.

But Spears may be getting back in the studio sooner than expected. According to the Extra, the "Hit Me Baby One More Time" singer is near signing on for a residency at a Las Vegas. "We are in deep negotiations and I'd shocked if it didn't happen. Hoping to have a deal done very soon," Spears' manager Larry Rudolph said in a statement.

The singer, who announced that she and fiancé Jason Trawick had called off their engagement in January, has been in talks over the past months. Spears has been in negotiations with two casinos, sources say. Spears will follow in the footsteps of performers like Celine Dion, who is set to earn $100 million in a three-year deal with Caesars Palace last year.

Spears' recent tweet about Vegas in response to her dog, Hannah, who asks, "Mommy, are dogs allowed to gamble in Vegas? Gonna cash all my bones in for chips.'

Britney replied, "I dont think so honey #VivaLasVegas."
