New Year's may be considered a Federal Holiday, but that doesn't mean all retailers are closed.  

Many stores will be keeping their doors open on both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day for shoppers hoping to ring in the New Year's by taking advantage of sales wherever they shop.

CVS: Hours vary by location but most are open regular hours both days.  

Dick's Sporting Goods: Stores are open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. both days 

Dillards: Stores are open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. New Year's Eve and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. New Year's Day 

GAP: Stores are open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day 

Home Depot: Stores are open 6 a.m.-6 p.m. New Year's Eve and 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. New Year's Day 

J.C. Penney: Hours vary by location but most are open regular hours both days.

Lowe's: All stores will close at 6 p.m. New Year's Eve and will re open on New Year's Day from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
