While Gwen Stefani usually likes to keep quiet about her personal life and her family when it comes to her interviews, it looks like she has no problem throwing her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale under the bus.

The chart topper just can't stop talking about the ex-couple's failed marriage, adding that she did everything under the sun to make their marriage work while implying that the Bush singer could have made more of an effort.

Stefani, who pulled the plug on their marriage last summer after being married for nearly a decade, says that she felt completely devastated about their divorce and that she ended up channeling all of her negative feelings into songwriting, much to Rossdale's dismay.

In a recent interview with PrideSource, she said, "I just think what happened was: In February, my family fell apart. It was devastating. I didn't know what to do. It was a real big secret but I'm not good with that. I tried everything to fix it."

Stefani added, ''By June, I went into the studio and started writing. I was praying. I had already started on a spiritual journey when I got pregnant with Apollo that was sort of like, 'Wow, really? I'm gonna be blessed with a baby... now?' That was a miracle. It just started me on this spiritual journey and thank God it started then because I was prepared when I had the tragedy. I had that nest of spirituality in me.''

Stefani and Rossdale share three sons together, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7 and 2-year-old Apollo. The platinum blonde hit maker has since moved on with country music stat and her The Voice co-host Blake Shelton.
