They've been proving themselves to be one of the hottest couples in the business, and now, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are bringing that heat to their fans' ears with a new track they worked on together!

The fact that the pair recorded a song together was released when Stefani leaked a tweet which featured the back of Shelton's new album, which is set to drop May 20. The photo, which features the back of the album, clearly shows that the couple dueted on a song together, titled "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," and they are very much excited about the song.

"Look what I found lying round the house! #ispymyname #goaheadandbreakmyheart @blakeshelton #eeeekkkk! #crazy!," she captioned the image.

Now, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shelton opened up about the song, and revealed that Stefani's tweet about it was no accident.

"We finally got a mock-up of the album, what the artwork was going to look like. And we flip it over and it has all the songs," he said. "I said, 'You know what" Take a picture of that and tweet it. It'll be our way to announce that yes, we have a duet together.'"

He also opened up about the song itself, and admitted that collaborating with Stefani on the song-both by performing it together and writing it, was a new process for him, but he thinks the payoff will be huge.

"[The song] is very personal for us both because, you know, we obviously have this bond that is remarkable together," he said. "But the fact that we wrote a song together...I know that I don't co-write that much because I'm very insecure about it I guess and [Gwen's] kind of got her circle of people that she writes with. But for us to reach out to each other as writers, it may never happen again, who knows."

"I hesitate to brag on it too much but I really think that Iit's as good of a song as I've ever written in my life," he added.
