Is George Clooney about to make a radical change in his life here? That might be the case as the actor has hinted that he would rather go around the world and help out with charity work than make another Hollywood movie. In fact, he even admitted that he sometimes feels "suffocated" by fame and would rather cast a spotlight on the numerous atrocities that happen on a daily basis from all around the world.

The actor spoke at a forum on genocide and according to The Independent, the Hail, Caesar! actor, who is married to International Human Rights lawyer Amal Clooney, said that he would rather use his celebrity to help others. His fans meanwhile can't help but wonder if that means he plans on working more with his wife in the future rather than on another project in Hollywood.

While speaking at the refugee crisis event in Armenia, Clooney said, "Fame has an interesting element to it but if you tend to be followed round by a camera then you can feel suffocated at times. I thought it might be effective if I went to those places and got those cameras to follow me and try and amplify these stories of NGOs who were doing such hard work, such dangerous work."

Clooney further explained, "I was lucky to be born where I was (in America) and not born as a young woman who was taken by Boko Haram," he said, referring to the over 200 schoolgirls who were kidnapped by Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram in 2014. "It was lucky - luck is genetic and time and place."

He added, "That luck needs to be spread. What I find beautiful about what we're doing this weekend is we're looking at it, we're pointing at it, we're amplifying it. There is an awful lot the world needs, not a handout but a hand-up."
