How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris is out on a scavenger hunt for his 40th birthday thanks to his creative partner David Burtka.

Harris doesn't turn 40 until June 15, but he got an early present from Google. Google held a #ifihadglass competition for people and celebrities to explain what they would do if they could try Google Glass, the new computerized glasses by Google.

Google is still announcing its winners, according to Business Insider, and Harris is one of them. For the contest, he had tweeted on February 20, "I'd show what it's like to act on the set of HIMYM all day! ‪#ifihadglass."

Google responded to him via Twitter on March 28 explaining they would directly message him details. The glasses cost $1,500, according to the publication.

Meanwhile, Harris began his scavenger hunt on Saturday, according to People, with a surprise party thrown by Burtka.

On Monday he was driven to Las Vegas and trained with Cirque Du Soleil performers and had his face painted Cirque-style.

On April 2, he tweeted, "I've dug up locked boxes, driven to Vegas, trained with ‪@Cirque folk, eaten amazing food, and now am on a train to ?? ‪@Davidburtka rules!"
