Jeremy Calvert is ignoring the ongoing controversy regarding how his ex-wife, Leah Messer, is parenting their daughter on Teen Mom 2 and focusing on his child.

After embarking on what appeared to be a very long road trip with girlfriend Brooke Wehr, Calvert shared a photo with fans, which featured a pair of small pink cowboy boots.

"New boots for baby girl #daddysgirl #loveher #littlecowgirl," Calvert wrote in the caption of the photo below.

As Calvert enjoys being a dad to Adalynn, his ex-wife continues to take major heat on Twitter for her many parenting flubs.

Most recently, Messer was under fire for allowing her daughter to enjoy a container of icing as a snack so that she could talk about her relationship drama. On Twitter, fans slammed her for allowing her child to eat such an unhealth snack, and many noted that Adalynn had been seen just a few weeks ago eating packets of Sweet 'N Low.

“Sad how you watch Leah give that baby icing just to get her outta her way,” one fan wrote as she watched the episode.

“Did Leah give her baby frosting so she could sit down & talka bout herself?” another asked.

A third pointed out the health ramifications.

“Never should give a kid icing,” they wrote. “Make her a PB&J. Leah you trying to give her baby diabetes?”

Earlier this season, after the Sweet 'N Low incident, Messer attempted to defend herself online, but no one was really buying her excuse.

“She was sneaking it while I was filming and MTV caught her,” Messer claimed.

“So Leah’s baby was eating sweet n’ low packets in a previous episode and now eating chocolate frosting from the jar,” a commenter responded. “Great parenting!”
