Ozzy Osbourne is currently in therapy to address his reported addiction to sex.

Following a statement made by Osbourne's mistress, Michelle Pugh, in which she claimed she and Osbourne were involved in a years-long affair, the rocker released a statement of his own on Facebook, in which he opened up about his struggles.

"Over the last 6 years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction," he wrote to his many fans and followers on Facebook on Wednesday. "I’m sorry if Ms. Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context. I’d also like to apologize to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with."

"Out of bad comes good," he continued. "Since the press exposed my relationship with Ms Pugh, I have gone into intense therapy. I am mortified at what my behavior has done to my family. I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me."

According to Pugh, their relationship "felt like an old-fashioned romance. Being courted."

"I loved it. When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it," she revealed to People Magazine, scoffing at the idea that Osbourne is a sex addict.

Pugh claimed to the magazine that her relationship with Osbourne was "private" and "never with 'Ozzy the rock god.' My relationship was with this really nice, sweet, funny and cool guy ... John from England," she said. "He made it clear to me and asked me not to see anyone else. We had a very real relationship."
