Since Jay- Z dropped his Nets share, the rapper has embarked in a new profession as sports a agent. Recently, the rapper signed WNBA player Skylar Diggins to his Roc Nation Sports agency.

Diggins, the third player picked in the Women's National Basketball Association Draft this year, confirmed her association with Jay- Z on her Twitter account.

@RocNation #RocNation #RocNationSports #HeadbandNation #TulsaShock #GoShock #WNBA," she tweeted on April 25 along with a picture of her throwing up the diamond symbol.

Diggins, a guard of the Tulsa Shock, played college basketball at the University of Notre Dame, where the she became the only player in school history to rack up 2,000 points, 500 rebounds and assists.

Diggins is considered to be the biggest name in women's basketball right now. The women's basketball player has made headlines in the past as celebrities even professed their admiration for her beauty.

In the past rapper Lil Wayne tweeted about Diggins and released a video back in 2011 where he talked about the basketball player. At the minute mark in the video below, Wayne stated: "I'm in Indiana, looking for Skylar Diggins."

Jay-Z, announced in the beginning of April that he was starting an athlete representation firm with New York Yankees All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano as its first client. Roc Nation, an entertainment company, recently ventured into the sports world and collaborated with CAA Sports to represent athletes across the world.

"Our newest endeavor is committed to building the brands of professional athletes as we have done for some of today's top music artists." Jay- Z said.

On his the rapper's Life and Times website, he released a statement on Diggins' behalf.

"Join us in welcoming Skylar Diggins to the Roc Nation family as the WNBA's Tulsa Shock player signs with Roc Nation Sports," the statement read.
