Adam Sandler may be the one getting the big bucks in his next movie, but a 3-year-old scene stealer is likely to walk away with all the attention.

Little Christian Haupt, whose obsession with baseball starts with his waking moments and inhabits his dreams at night, plays a small part as a budding ballplayer in Sandler's new film That's My Boy.

A casting director spotted the tiny toddler on YouTube, where his parents posted a video of him in an oversized Los Angeles Dodgers jersey last summer. A week later, Hollywood came calling.

Christian wears his baseball uniform to school every day. When he had to change into shorts and a polo shirt while filming the movie, "he cried so hard," his mom, Cathy Byrd, told the Thousand Oaks Acorn newspaper in California.

Most actors would be consumed with thoughts about their next role. But Christian has no interest in the silver screen. For him, it's on to Little League this year. After that, he wants to keep wearing a baseball jersey - in a big boy size - in the major leagues, surrounded by fans chanting his name.

The movie, which features Leighton Meester and Andy Samberg along with Sandler, is set for release June 15.
