Every year at the Golden Globes there's some sort of unfortunate mishap and this year it was "Hidden Fences".

Apparently, it's very difficult to differentiate Hidden Figures from Fences. Jenna Bush Hager was on the red carpet at last night's Golden Globes and spoke with Pharrell Williams, whose original score for Hidden Figures was nominated. But Bush Hager wound up referring to the film as "Hidden Fences", a mashup of the two awards contenders. Williams gave a bit of side-eye but chose not to correct her.

Twitter then took hold of this incident, with several tweeters posting quips about "Hidden Fences". Remarkably, the incident was repeated again during the award show itself when Best Supporting Actress presenter Michael Keaton said Octavia Spencer was nominated for "Hidden Fences" instead of Hidden Figures.

TMZ caught up with Keaton after the Globes at which point the Birdman star apologized for the mix-up.

Bush Hager also apologized live on Today Monday morning, tearfully saying, "If I offended people, I am deeply sorry. It was a mistake... What I didn't want to do is make anyone feel lesser than who they are. It was a mistake and I hope we can all move on."

Even if Bush Hager and Keaton are regretful of "Hidden Fences", it has given rise to a lot of great Twitter posts. Check it out below:
