Amazon is slashing Kindle and Fire tablets for a limited time only. E-book lovers will get as much as 25 percent discount with the giant retailer's ongoing sale.

The classic Kindle six-inch e-book reader is essentially the same tablet that launched the Kindle family several years ago. The touchscreen display has a glare-free finish and multiple hues of black, grey and white to copy the appearance of paper. This could also help eliminate eye strain of the reader.

The classic Kindle device's battery will last for weeks on just a single charge. It has also enough room to store more than a handful of titles. Amazon Prime members will have an access to numerous titles as well. For a limited time, it is now being offered at a 25 percent discount, bringing it down to $60.

The basic model of Kindle Fire seven-inch tablet is available for only $40 at Amazon. The full-fledged tablet has a vibrant seven-inch IPS touchscreen display. It also runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, equipped with Alexa service to give complete control of the device using voice commands. Amazon Prime members have access to free movies, television shows and books.

Kindle Paperwhite e-book reader features glare-free screen that makes reading in daylight easy for the eyes. Unlike the classic Kindle, this one has an built-in adjustable light for reading in the dark. Amazon is now slashing $20 off the original price, making it more affordable at $100.

Amazon brings down Fire Kids Edition Tablet to $80 which already includes a year of Freetime Unlimited access to more than 10,000 books, educational materials, games, movies and shows. Parents can also decide what the child can access and for how long according to Digital Trends.

The Kindle Voyage is a delight for serious e-book readers. It comes in smart lighting that adjusts according to the reader's environment. For a limited time, Amazon is giving a $20 discount, bringing the tablet down to only $180.
