"Logan" recently released a new trailer that depicts another odd side to the titular character. After the events that took place in "The Wolverine," the fate of the adamantium-filled outlaw remained rather uncertain, until now.

Many can agree that Wolverine is one of the most iconic characters in the X-Men universe, both for the graphic novel and the live-action interpretations. However, in "Logan," a new side of the mutant slowly unfolds as he shows his take on fatherhood, as well as his career prior to it.

According to GameSpot, 20th Century Fox unveiled a black-and-white trailer for the upcoming standalone film, where viewers can see a weary Logan driving a stretch limousine. It appears as if this was his job in the past after all the mutants have vanished, and in the clip, he seemed rather unhappy with this life, drinking while driving miserably for people at night. Throughout the "Logan" video, a voicemail of a man introducing himself as James Howlett|(Hugh Jackman)-the name that Wolverine was once known as-talking to a Mr. Esperanza about buying a yacht for $60,000.

The said yacht is a 1996 Sunseeker, whom Logan says is for his father. As per The Hollywood Reporter, this is expected to particularly be Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), who he will trek on with his daughter throughout the movie. "Logan," as the actor defends, is not in any way part of the previous "X-Men" films shown. The film will see Wolverine aged, slowed down regenerative abilities and with a daughter, now revealed to be the future X-23.

"Logan" is expected to surface on March 3, 2017. It will be directed by James Mangold and is another Marvel movie to be rated R. 2016's "Deadpool" was also given the same rating due to excessive violence and sexual themes, which is said to also be part of the upcoming Wolverine offering.
