Emma Watson recently admitted she’s having a hard time making a name for herself as an adult, following her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films.

The actress admitted that she feels her “game” is up as an actress, but she feels “inadequate” about her skills.

In a Rookie magazine interview, published Monday, Watson said, “It’s called the impostor syndrome. It’s almost like the better I do, the more my feeling of inadequacy actually increases, because I’m just going, Any moment, someone’s going to find out I’m a total fraud, and that I don’t deserve any of what I’ve achieved.”

After the actress filmed the last Harry Potter movie in 2010, she said she had lost confidence in herself as an actress. The actress only began rebuilding her self-esteem a year later in filming The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.

“I can’t possibly live up to what everyone thinks I am and what everyone’s expectations of me are,” she said. "After Harry Potter I didn't feel very confident in myself as an actor. It's lucky that I've improved that now, but back then I needed someone to believe in me, and [director] Stephen [Chbosky] really did."

Watson was at the Cannes Film Festival earlier in May promoting her latest film The Bling Ring, featuring a teenage group who robbed houses of celebrities like Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox.

In the film she plays the character Nicki, representing Alexis Neiers, who served one month in prison after being convicted of burglary.

The film is set for release June 14.
