After several years of singing with a group, Harry Styles announced that he's having a solo record and although the music industry and his fans are thrilled with this, there's one person who's not happy about it. Apparently, his former bandmate, Zayn Malik, fears to be "overshadowed" by the 23-year-old singer's revelation. But does he really have anything to fear about?

After an incredible five years of staying in the band, Zayn Malik left the hit band, One Direction. According to the "Pillowtalk" hitmaker, he just wanted to be a "normal 22-year-old." But that didn't seem to be the case as his former co-member, Liam Payne, revealed the real reason why Gigi Hadid's boyfriend left. According to the "Drag Me Down" singer, Zayne left because of 1D's music.

As heartbreaking as it is, One Direction turned into a four member band after Zayn Malik's departure. Soon after, he released solo music, making Liam Payne's statement sound correct. But he's not the last one to depart the band as Louis Tomlinson soon hit the music industry, on his own, with his catchy song entitled "Just Hold On." Although the "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" singer wasn't overwhelmed with this before, he now is. Apparently, Harry Style's turn to become a solo artist made Zayn Malik anxious.

"Zayn has been flying high on his success as a solo artist, but he's stressing out big time now that Harry's coming out with a new album. He's worried that Harry is going to steal his thunder and overshadow what he's worked so hard for," a source said to Hollywood Life. "Out of all the 1D guys, Harry is the one Zayn has always felt the most competitive with, and with good reason."

According to The Sun, ad advert that featured Harry Style's tattoo and eyes made fans go crazy. Does this mean that Zayn Malik's instinct is true? Will the guy Cara Delevingne is linked with really "overshadow" Perrie Edwards' ex?
