Katie Holmes just opened up about her daughter Suri who is growing up fast to becoming a teenager. With this, she then revealed that she is not worried about Suri being a teenager someday since she mentioned that her daughter is a great girl.

With her revelation, it was reported on US Magazine that Holmes is a regular mom and not a cool mom. The "Dawson's Creek" actress is not worried about Suri pulling away once she steps in her teenage years. At the moment, Suri is 11 years old and years from now, she will soon enter the age of adolescence.

When Holmes was asked if she was worried regarding there being a time when the mother stops being cool, she responded that she is enjoying this time. She is not definitely worried yet about teenage years since in the first place, she was never cool. Therefore, the actress explained that she's got nothing to lose and that she is prepared for this.

Katie and her daughter with Tom Cruise, Suri are very close and the actress can be always observed sharing all their cute moments together on her social media accounts. It can be recalled that last July, some people observed Suri's resemblance with her mother. She wore a pretty printed dress which she partnered with a big pink bow. With Holmes, she flashed a great smile backstage when they watched Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen.

Even after separation from Cruise, Katie has been very vocal about how she raises her daughter, Suri in the city. According to the actress, there is so much at her fingertips with the responsibilities she needs to fulfill being a single parent.

Aside from being a parent to Suri, according to PEOPLE, Holmes also shared her love of the arts as she just disclosed the latest art exhibit she visited. According to Tom's ex-wife, she loves the Museum of Modern Art as well as the Picasso exhibit and the Natural History Museum.

Lastly, Holmes also opened up about the possibility of making a shift in her career for the sake of her daughter Suri. With this, she said that the industry is unstable that's why she might move away from acting and work behind the camera instead.
