Jamie Lynn Sigler isn't shy about showing off her pregnancy curves.

After recently being photographed sporting a tiny white bikini in Myrtle Beach, S.C., she believes that now is not only a good time to wear a bikini, it's the best time. 

"I would probably not be caught in a bikini otherwise, but when you're pregnant, it is what it is. However your body's carrying is how your body's carrying," Sigler told PEOPLE, as she hosted a baby shower at Sugar and Plumm in New York City Wednesday, benefitting children's charity Baby Buggy.

At Sigler's baby shower, guests enjoyed sliders, a baker's dozen cookie plate and Sugar & Plumm's signature Earthquake in a FishBowl. Sources tell EnStars she requested a baseball-themed cake since she's having a baby boy and her fiancé Cutter Dykstra, who is a minor league baseball player.

With the baby due in August, the Guys With Kids actress, 32, and Dykstra, 23, are getting more excited for their bundle of joy -- and even have a few names in mind. 

"I think as he feels him move and kick it becomes more real. We have a couple of names we're toying with. We'll call him one name one week and one name another week. I think we have our favorite, but you never know. We could change our minds when we meet him," Sigler said.

Last month, Sigler sounded off on the backlash celebrities get for carry a little extra baby weight. She even went on to defend Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian.

"I feel really bad for her. It's hard being pregnant," Sigler said to host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. "Your body does change; I mean my boobs have like quadrupled in size and it's hard."

"She's doing her best and I think she looks beautiful. I mean she's carrying a baby; I feel bad for her."
