Over the weekend, Jaden Smith performed at Rolling Loud's Southern California festival. The actor amazed the crowd with his accomplished live set, but the set wasn't the only amazing thing about his performance.

Smith executed a smooth moonwalk during his "Icon" performance. But wait, it gets better. The rapper was able to complete the move in a pair of chunky Louis Vuitton boots. It's already hard enough to moonwalk with shoes on, but boots? As if he wasn't already cool.

When asked who inspired him to learn the iconic move, surprisingly it wasn't the late and great, Michael Jackson. It was his mother, Jada Pinkett Smith.

"She's amazing at dancing, and I'd always watch Michael Jackson when I was young, and I just kind of picked it up," Smith said.

One could only hope they could "pick up" such a talent.

Smith is also among celebrities who have had a stellar year. From the release of his debut album, Syre to starring in Netflix's anime show, Neo Yokio. Smith surely knows how to stay busy.

The songwriter is no stranger to Netflix. Smith also starred on Netflix's, The Get Down as Marcus "Dizzee" Kipling. Set in the 1970s, the music-driven drama highlights the rise of hip-hop through art, music, and dance through a group of young people in the South Bronx. The Get Down premiered on Aug. 12, 2016, and aired it's final episode on April 7, 2017.
