Survivor: The Amazon winner Jenna Morasca is being charged after the former reality star allegedly bit a police officer who revived her from an overdose.

The Incident

According to E! News, the incident occurred on Jan. 25 when Morasca was found passed out in a running car in Pennsylvania with another female passenger. The officers gave her an overdose reversal medicine called Narcan. Medics gave her more of the drug when they arrived at the scene later.

The police said that upon getting revived, the Survivor alum turned violent, fighting the medics and attempting to bite them. When a female officer tried to help during the ambulance ride to the hospital, Morasca bit her on the right forearm.

Officers saw her fellow passenger with a small bag of syringes, which was later confiscated and found to contain a burnt spoon with a string and cotton balls. There was also another syringe in her purse.

Morasca was charged under suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs as well as possession of narcotics paraphernalia. TMZ revealed that the television personality will also be charged with assaulting a police officer.

The reality star has not yet made a statement about her charges.

Reality Star

She won $1 million as the sole winner of Survivor: The Amazon, the sixth season of the show. Two seasons later, Morasca joined the CBS show again for Survivor: All-Stars, although she had to pull out due to her mother's illness.

However, Survivor is just one of the many reality shows Morasca participated in. Other series that hosted the reality star include Dinner: Impossible, The Amazing Race, The Celebrity Apprentice, Fear Factor, and Paranormal Project. She was also part of the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as a professional wrestler.

In 2012, Morasca graduated from Columbia University with a master's degree in Counseling and Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in substance abuse.

She used to be married to fellow Survivor winner Ethan Zohn, but the couple made the decision to split up in 2013 after 10 years. Zohn married interior designer Lisa Heywood in 2016 after two years of dating.

Survivor Alums In Trouble

Morasca is not the only survivor who has found herself in hot water. The first ever Survivor winner Richard Hatch was jailed in 2006 for tax evasion charges, then again when he violated his probation in 2011.

Brian Heidik, who joined the first season of the reality show, was also arrested for shooting a dog with a bow and arrow. Another winner, Jud "Fabio" Birza of season 21, was incarcerated for skateboarding while being drunk in public.
