Tristan Thompson Tells Khloe Kardashian He's 'Relieved' About The Cheating Scandal Coming Out

Tristan Thompson has told Khloe Kardashian that he was "relieved" when his cheating scandal broke out, but at the same time devastated of the hurt he had caused her.

A US Weekly source claimed that the reality star found it easy to forgive her cheating baby daddy after the NBA superstar reportedly bawled his eyes out at the hospital when Kardashian had given birth to their bundle of joy, True. Moreover, the insider said that Thompson felt "devastated" that he caused pain to the matriarch.

Of course, add to that the timing when Thompson's cheating scandal broke out, which was just two days before Kardashian gave birth to their daughter. But as much as he was broken over hurting Kardashian, the source said the 27-year-old actually also felt "relieved" that the cat is out of the bag.

"Khloé has always said that everything happens for a reason, but absolutely loves Tristan. He actually told Khloé he was relieved that it had come out, and that he thinks subconsciously he wanted to get caught," the insider explained.

Furthermore, the source claimed that Thompson knew that paparazzi were taking snaps of him and the woman going back to his hotel in New York, but he seemed to not mind. Of this, the Cleveland Cavaliers' player allegedly admitted to Kardashian that there was an "unspoken rule" in the NBA that they should "hook-up with groupies on the road," so he had some pressure on dealing with women nearing him.

However, the news should be taken with a grain of salt, as it didn't come straight from the horse's mouth. Both Thompson and Kardashian have remained mum on the whole issue, but the 33-year-old remained in Cleveland after the cheating scandal broke out.

Thompson And Kardashian's Recent Outings

It is worth noting, however, that the recent news supports Thompson and Kardashian's recent outings. Earlier this month, the two were spotted at a restaurant in Cleveland grabbing lunch with their friends, the first time since the cheating scandal was made public.

But in what seemed like a public show of support for Thompson, Kardashian went to his game on Saturday and low-key cheered for his man. This was dubbed as a move that basically meant she had forgiven him for what he had done.

On Tuesday, the parents of True seemed to have a date as they were photographed at a cinema. Thompson and Kardashian obviously tried to conceal their identities by wearing caps, but, of course, their efforts were useless.
