To the delight of its plethora of fans, a brand new concept art picture for Thor: The Dark World has just surfaced on the web.

The respective teaser image appears to be an early drawing, showcasing some of the various characters standing in back of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Jane (Natalie Portman), Sif (Jaimie Alexander), Odin (Anthony Hopkins) as well as a first glance at Algrim the Strong (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje).

In terms of its story, executive producer Kevin Feige told Entertainment Weekly that the highly anticipated sequel would be delving deeper into Thor's home land of Asgard.

"We wanted to see more of Asgard than last time. We see the street-level view, the nooks and crannies of house people actually live there - real people and not just golden superbeings," he said.

Actor Idris Elba, who dons the role of Heimdall in the flick, recently interviewed with IGN about the movie's premise, which he said focuses a little bit more into the world itself.

"I think it's a closer look at the world, a little bit more in, a little bit closer. The process is pretty much the same but there's definitely an angle that they're coming from, which is different from the first film," he said.

Marvel's Thor: The Dark World will make its debut in theaters on Friday, Nov. 8. Be sure to keep checking back for more details on the highly anticipated blockbuster flick. The official film trailer can be viewed below.
