Kanye West 'Idiotic' Family of Astroworld Tragedy's Youngest Victim Says: 'Praise Billie Eilish Instead!'

The family of Ezra Blount, the youngest victim of the Astroworld disaster, has slammed Kanye West for demanding that Billie Eilish apologize for her veiled criticism of Travis Scott.
Following Ye's Instagram threat to cancel his Coachella performance until Eilish apologized, Ezra's granddad, Beron Blount, came out in an interview with Rolling Stone.
Meanwhile, Travis Scott is being chastised on Reddit for showing 'no remorse' for the deadly incident since he liked Kanye West's social media message.
"To hear Kanye's words, that's hurtful to us. What an idiotic thing to say," Bernon told the outlet.
Bernon and his wife Tericia are the grandparents of the youngest victim of the 10 persons murdered in the Astroworld crowd disaster. During the surge, Ezra, nine, tumbled from his father's shoulders and landed in a coma, ultimately dying in the hospital.
Kanye West resorted to Instagram on Thursday to seek an apology from Billie Eilish for her recent comments on Travis Scott and the Astroworld tragedy.

After Eilish, 20, took a break from her concert to provide an inhaler to a fan who was having trouble breathing, she made a comment that many mistook for a dig at Scott.
After spotting the distraught fan, Eilish paused her performance and directed medical personnel to assist the fan. She then encouraged the other audience members to take a step back and let the person in issue to restore their calm.
'I wait for people to be OK until I keep going,' the Ocean Eyes singer stated, appearing to make a reference to Scott's deadly Astroworld Festival while condemning the rapper's on-stage behavior.
The singer's remark elicited a round of applause from the audience, and she resumed her performance.
"No one intended this to happen Trav didn't have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened," he continued.
"And yes Trav will be with me at Coachella but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform," he concluded.
It remains to be seen if Scott will truly perform with the rapper, given how Kanye's demands will reflect more poorly on Scott.
Tericia Blount, Ezra's grandmother, said West should be praising Eilish, not getting miffed that she helped a fan who was struggling to breathe.
"I think it's just crazy, and I hate to use that word, but I think it's ridiculous," Tericia Blount said of West's treatment of Eilish. "She's making sure that she is caring for the patrons at her concert, and I just think that's crazy of Kanye to even let that demand come out of his mouth."
Eilish scoffed at the demands, saying she never even mentioned Travis Scott by name. IF the first person Kanye West thinks of is Travis Scott over Eilish's comments, then Scott could indeed be guilty.
