Bad Bunny is officially making his way into the constantly expanding Spider-verse.

Sony currently has a new Marvel project in the works, and while not a lot is known about it, casting announcements are being made. Most recently it was announced, that none other than musician Bad Bunny will be playing a part in this new film.

He will be playing El Muerto, a character from the Spider-man universe. El Muerto - the quintessential bad guy turned good guy - used to fight Spider-Man, until, after Spider-Man saved his life, he found himself teaming up with the webbed hero.

The addition of this character into the realm makes El Muerto the first Latin superhero to get their own film in Sony's Marvel Universe.

Prior to heading his own film, El Muerto will appear in another film, in a less prominent capacity: Bullet Train, which is set to come out on July 29th.

Bullet Train will feature an incredible cast, including Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Logan Lerman, Lady Gaga, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Taylor-Johnson also got picked up, after working on this project, to head his own movie in the Marvel Universe, titled Kraven the Hunter. While not much is yet known about Kraven the Hunter, we are confident it will make an amazing addition to Sony's own Marvel library. The film already boasts a powerhouse cast, including Oscar award winner Ariana DeBose.

We can't wait to see Bad Bunny head a film as El Muerto! We will keep you up to date with any new details as they arise.
