Andrew Garfield would like everyone to know that his butt was unmodified in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Let's go back and explain.

In an interview that happened not too long ago, star of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland, revealed in an interview that one of the other Spider-Men that appeared in the film had a fake butt built into his suit.

The star said to Seth Meyers that he was tired of the constant lies required to keep plot details of Spider-Man: No Way Home a secret, revealing to the talk show host:

"I'll give you a spoiler, and I'm not going to tell you who, but one of us has a fake ass in their suit...I remember being on set and being like 'WOW...Oh, hang on a minute...nah, that's not real!"

By this story, we can make the deductive assumtion (pun intended) that the fake butt was not in Tom Holland's suit - because he was surpised when he noticed it was fake, and we're thinking he knows his own but well enough that he would have noticed if it was his own right away.

That would leave his to co-Spider-Men, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, under speculation.

Until last night.

Andrew Garfield was interviewed by Seth Meyers last night, and shed some important light on the subject (no, not like Lea Michele.)

Garfield has assured (pun, again, intended) audiences:

"All I know is that I am totally unmodified and that's all I can share."

WHICH WOULD MEAN that the fake butt would HAVE to belong to the ONLY REMAINING SPIDER-MAN, Tobey Maguire - who, we would imagine, is likely scheduling his own interview with Seth Meyers as we speak.

While Garfield attests with confidence that he was, "totally unmodified," he says that the MORE likely case is that this was all one major marketing prank played on the world by Holland.

Garfield reflected that Holland is, "very good at marketing."

"He's just stirring the pot - old Tom, he can't help himself...You know, there's an expression that we have in entertainment, which is, 'We want to put bums on seats.' You know, we want to get the audience sat and paying their tickets...

Tom is pretty great at creating subgenres of games for you all...While you're in the cinema going, 'Well that butt doesn't look real. Tobey's looks like it might be real. Could Andrew have that much ass? Maybe, potentially.'"

Who knows what the real truth behind it all is? Maybe we need to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home again to triple-check.
