Get ready to follow the fear all over again: the teaser trailer for Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin has been released.

If you found yourself in middle school in the late 2010s, you knew that Pretty Little Liars was all anyone could talk about.

That was mostly because it was the thing that kept us up all night tossing and turning with nightmares, obsessively checking our phones to make sure that A hadn't, in fact, started trying to blackmail us as well.

We followed the show for seven years, many of us into our first few years of college. It was impossible to get off the terror train without answers.

Finally, we got our closure. We moved our separate ways.

Of course, that means someone had to bring it back.

A new terrifying, edge of your seat, no-good-night's-sleeps-allowed spin-off of Pretty Little Liars is coming out. The new show, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin has just dropped their teaser trailer, and they are not pulling any of their goosebump-inducing punches.

The trailer for this new HBO Max show opens with a music-box version of the original Pretty Little Liars theme song "Secret" (horrifying).

Of course, the new show needs to find a way to up the ante (which...how?)

WELL, instead of the show starting with ONE missing girl, the show seems to tease the stalking and absence of several. For those of us that spent our teen years watching A's gloves in weird, disorganized bunkers of horror: Don't worry! They brought that back!

The show begins streaming on HBO Max on July 28th, so enjoy your last six weeks of a fear-free existence. (But fear not! After the first episode terrifies you, the new Beyonce album will be out the next day to calm you down!)

Now, is anyone brave enough to watch this with us, or are we going to have to do it alone?
