Sarah Jessica Parker has embraced her aging journey as many fans applaud her for proudly flaunting her gray hair. However, the actress has a message for her supporters regarding the matter.

Speaking to Allure, the 57-year-old star shared what aging means and reacted to her viral photo showing her silver locks.

The star said it became "months of conversation" about how "brave" she is for having gray hair. However, she wanted people to "applaud someone else's courage" on something.

Personally, the "Sex and the City" star believes having that kind of hairstyle is a manner of patience, not bravery.

"I can't spend time getting base color every two weeks. Can't do it. Nope. Too much," she said (via People Magazine)

Aside from her viral photo, a similar incident happened after an episode of "And Just Like That..." aired where her character, Carrie Bradshaw, went to a plastic surgeon with Anthony, played by Mario Cantone.

When they visited the doctor, the character accepted his offer to see what the results would look like on her if she underwent surgery.

Parker said many people applauded her after the episode aired, saying she was "very brave."

Similar to Bradshaw, the actress doesn't want to have surgery to look younger, saying she doesn't care enough as long as she feels good.

"I'm not without vanity, I guess I just don't care enough about everybody else's opinion," she added.

The "Plaza Suite" star wanted everyone to accept that wrinkles are natural, as many people have been talking about "the accumulation of time spent adding up in wrinkles."

This isn't the first time Parker opened up about aging as she spoke to Vogue Magazine a few months ago, saying she faced double standards after the photo of her gray hair went viral.

The actress aired her thoughts about the "misogynist chatter" in response to an issue that would "never happen about a man."

When the viral photo was taken, she was eating with good pal Andy Cohen, who has a full head of gray hair, and Parker thinks he's "exquisite."

In addition, the Broadway star believes people can be judgemental on social media as she feels the public doesn't want older women to "be perfectly okay" with where they are.
