Jason Momoa got involved in a collision with a motorcyclist over the weekend.

A news outlet first confirmed the accident, disclosing that Momoa collided with a motorcyclist in a Los Angeles area. The "Aquaman" star faced a near-death experience after the motorcyclist crossed over his lane and hit the left side of his Oldsmobile.

He was reportedly traveling on Old Topanga Canyon Road near the Calabasas area.

Momoa was, fortunately, not injured. The other driver, however, sustained minor injuries after hitting the vehicle's windshield before rolling over Momoa's vehicle.

The rider was able to stand up after the collision but he was still transported to the hospital to receive treatments for the bruises on the leg and thumb injury.

The worrying news came out weeks after the actor was spotted with his ex, Eiza Gonzalez, in London following their reported split.

PEOPLE said that the duo seemingly mended their relationship after they exited two hotspots together. It claimed that the couple left the venues minutes apart, but they were inside at the same time.

Sources divulged on June 14 that they broke up after dating for months. At that time, the insider said they split since "they are just very different people."

"They love each other very much, having dated quietly for some time before it became public. They are in different life stages," it went on.

Jason Momoa Suffered Injuries on "Aquaman"

Before the recent accident happened, Momoa opened up about the injuries he sustained on the "Aquaman" set.

Last year, he revealed on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that he suffered multiple injuries while playing his role in the upcoming "Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom."

"I'm getting old. I messed up my eyes, just got something in it that kind of cut it up and I got to get surgery, a hernia, I got ribs out, I'm just getting beat up," he said.

Despite that, the actor said that he loves his job and accepted the fact that he is an aging superhero already.

He also assured the fans that it would be a great movie and that they would all love it.

"Aquaman 2" director James Wan confirmed the official title, "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom." It will also star Johnny Depp's ex-wife, Amber Heard, who recently filed an appeal to overturn the verdict in the defamation trial.

The film is expected to be released next year.
