Is Whoopi Goldberg hinting that she's finally leaving "The View"?

Fans of the program have been pleading with the show's executives to dismiss her following racist remarks and gaffes on live television.

However, The Sun reports that the 66-year-old presenter hinted to departing the show during an off-air question and answer session with the studio audience during yesterday's edition.

According to an insider, a fan asked Whoopi whether she planned to launch a clothing line. She subsequently stated that she is not, but that she would be releasing a prosecco line.

The "Sister Act" actress also stated that the product is created in Italy and that she hopes to distribute it this Christmas season.

When one of "The View" co-hosts asked Whoopi whether she could market her beverage on the show, she said that she couldn't push people to buy alcohol on daytime television.

Fans have been pleading for Whoopi Goldberg to be fired or to leave "The View."

There is even a petition on Change.org demanding that she be relieved of her hosting responsibilities due to her "repulsive language and behavior."

Just last week, Whoopi intervened to keep the broadcast from going to commercial.

It was time for the planned advertisement as the talk program reached its 20-minute mark.

When co-host Sara Haines was forced to read a legal notice, Whoopi hit back.

Fans soon spotted his response, causing the commercial to pause.

This week, though, Whoopi had another uncomfortable section when his and Joy Behar's question for their visitor was cut into Sara's inquiry.

Despite her apology, Sara was motivated to ask her questions when the show returned after the commercial break.

Whoopi Goldberg's "hint" about departing "The View" follows news that former Trump staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin is in discussions to take on a more regular position on "The View" for its 26th season.

After multiple guest appearances over the last year, she will serve as the show's conservative co-host if discussions go well.

Meghan McCain previously served in the position from 2017 through last year.

The show now has a panel of hosts that includes Whoopi, Sara, Joy, Sunny Hostin, and frequent guest-host Ana Navarro.
