Meghan Markle suffered from scathing comments made by a royal author who she, reportedly, tried ghosting.

The past weeks have been hard for Meghan and Prince Harry again as royal author Tom Bower released "Revenge: Meghan, Harry And The War Between The Windsors."

So far, articles that quoted parts of the book only shared negative stories about the Duchess of Sussex, and the author himself explained why.

In a new interview with ITV's "Lorraine," Bower claimed that he tried to include the "good side of her" in his book. However, he found it difficult to get in touch with sources close to her.

He added that he was being cut off by the Duchess of Sussex, accusing her of ghosting people.

"It was ridiculous how difficult it was to get to people who I genuinely wanted to hear the good side of her. She is a person who controls the narrative. She ghosts people like her father or the Royal Family when she doesn't like them. She's a very determined woman, and she thought she could cut me off and she failed," Bower continuously slammed Meghan, as quoted by Express UK.

The royal author added that the Duchess of Sussex ultimately challenged people who flouted her values.

What Tom Bower's Book Claims

Bower criticized Meghan after negative information about the duchess made their way to his book.

One issue talked about Meghan and Queen Elizabeth II's relationship. While it looked like they had a great connection before the Megxit happened, the book revealed that the Duchess of Sussex, instead, annoyed the queen one time.

Her Majesty and Prince Charles held a conference call after the Sussexes' marriage as they were trying to mend the messy dispute Meghan has with her father, Thomas Markle.

However, Meghan did not follow them at all and said it was unrealistic to think she could fly to Mexico.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry's friends called out the Duke of Sussex for dating Meghan after she berated them for their "jokes about sexism, feminism and transgender people."

"Without hesitation, Meghan challenged every guest whose conversation contravened her values. According to Harry's friends, again and again, she reprimanded them about the slightest inappropriate nuance. Nobody was exempt," the book claims, per New York Post.

Bower's book also revealed the truth about Meghan and Kate's argument before the Sussexes' wedding. It revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge was the one who actually cried as Meghan unfavorably compared her daughter, Princess Charlotte, to the daughter of the actress's best friend, Jessica Mulroney.
