NeNe Leakes Shares an Emotional Statement as She Remembers Husband Gregg on His BIrthday
NeNe Leakes remembers his late husband Gregg Leakes in her most recent Instagram post on his 67th birthday.
She started her post with eight emotional words, "Missing the man that always had a plan!" which appears that she's been missing the days when she and her husband got to do different things with Gregg as a "planner."
But since the real estate investor died last year, his birthday is now sadder than the skies that are ready to unleash raindrops.
As the post continued, NeNe said in text that "today is a tuff one..." noting that every year on this date the couple used to go out and celebrate Gregg's special day.

She also added that she "can't believe we are wishing you a heavenly Birthday today. I feel like you went somewhere and you'll be back."
She ended her post with three lines yet sum all that she is feeling at the time. NeNe said that she misses her husband everyday. "Happy birthday, We love you so much."
More so, NeNe never fails to greet her husband on special occasions like "Father's Day." In her post in IG she greeted Gregg saying Happy Heavenly Father's Day noting that he was the "best" father while adding that Father's Day will NEVER be the same.
The couple first tied the knot in 1997 but their relationship not went well at first as they divorced was finalized in September 2011 after Gregg claimed that "popularity" got into his wife's head.
Later on, after just nearly 2 years of split the couple tried again to be in a relationship and got engaged in 2013 when Gregg asked her again to marry him.
Then finally, they tied the knot again for the second time around in Atlanta which was publicly witnessed by the people who love them as it was aired on Bravo as part of seven-episode special, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding.
Gregg passed away at the age of 66 last year after losing battle against Stage 3 Colon Cancer.
Meanwhile, NeNe has recently posted a photo of her graduation picture as she finished her Bachelor's Degree.
In the photo it can be seen that NeNe is wearing a black academic toga as she penned her post with "I did it."
