Lindsay Lohan might have stepped away from the limelight over the past years, but she still keeps her fans updated with her life on social media. Recently, the actress shared a sweet snap of herself and her husband as they traveled overseas after their wedding.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the "Mean Girls" star posted a photo of herself and Bader Shammas while dining at a restaurant in London, United Kingdom.

The newlyweds are all smiles as they sat down for an intimate dining experience.

Lohan captioned the post with "Home of the queen [UK flag emoji] with my [crown emoji]."

Before their trip to the UK, the pair were spotted shopping in New York City as they were in town to visit the 36-year-old actress' family.

During their trip to the city, they also visited a few restaurant spots and watched a show titled "MJ: The Musical Broadway."

The actress doesn't live in the United States anymore as she's been living in Dubai in recent years.

In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, the "Freaky Friday" actress opened up about living abroad.

She clarified that she loves New York, but things are different in the Middle East because there's a sense of "serenity and peace."

The reason behind it is that there are no cameras or paparazzi around her which makes her focus on what she wants to do in life.

Lohan added that she could have a private and public life when she chooses to and she doesn't always have to be "scrutinized" by the public every time.

The actress and her financier husband got engaged late last year. The couple got married earlier this month as Lohan referred to Shammas as her "husband" in an Instagram post.

She shared a selfie of themselves and revealed in the caption that she's "the luckiest woman in the world."

Lohan added that her husband "found" her and immediately knew that she wanted to find happiness and grace.

"I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. every woman should feel like this everyday," she added.

Speaking about her wedding plans in a previous interview with Extra, the actress said she's a "low-key" person, meaning her nuptial was not as grand.
