Queen Elizabeth II, even on her death bed, thought about the best for her grandson, Prince Harry.

The death of Queen Elizabeth II led the royal members to reunite with Prince Harry and Meghan. Unfortunately, the tragic event was the only event that made everyone come together again after the Sussexes' 2020 Megxit.

It has been revealed that the royal couple jetted back to the US "fuming" as the reconciliation they wanted did not happen, and it was something Queen Elizabeth II did not wish for.

Royal historian Robert Hardman recently detailed Queen Elizabeth II's desperate death wish in an interview with PEOPLE, saying that she hoped Prince Harry would make his way back to his family after years of issues and fights.

"The Queen adored Harry right to the end, and Harry adored her. I think she was one of the conduits between Windsor and California, and it would have been one of her dearest wishes that they patch things up," Hardman said.

His comment resonated with a source's sentiment, saying that Queen Elizabeth II's dying wish was for everyone to undergo a healing process. Before her death, the late monarch proved why she had been an ideal leader as she did not hold grudges toward anyone.

Until the end, she reportedly only wanted to see her family happy.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle "Fuming"

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle immediately jetted home after attending Queen Elizabeth II's funeral. On the day of the State Funeral, royal expert Tom Bower said that the royal family members treated the Sussexes with "very little sympathy towards them."

The royal author added that they looked angry as they left the funeral, and they were also raged back to Montecito.

Although his comments were not confirmed yet, Bower added that Prince Harry's book would detail the blunder that happened to them.

Meanwhile, Queen's former Press Secretary Dickie Arbiter said, per Sky News, that the bridge between them and the royal family is not yet big enough to fix the issues between them.

"They don't have any other currency. You talk about reconciliation - there's a very wide chasm," he continued. "There isn't a bridge big enough to bridge that chasm."

Arbiter, in the end, added that he had no idea Prince Harry and Meghan would "pull back" from how much they have ruined the monarchy.
