Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (FL-13) said she "absolutely believes" there are advanced technologies seen on Earth that "are not of human origin."

In an episode of The Grant Mitt Podcast aired Monday, Rep. Luna spoke about how the congress has been investigating claims about UFO sightings in the U.S.

She shared one particular instance where she was "Men In Blacked," making her believe UFOs, or what is more formally called Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), are not human-generated.

"I got 'Men In Blacked.' I know a lot of people are going to be like, 'that's crazy,'" the youngest Republican congresswoman shared. The phrase is a nod to the movie "Men In Black" where government agents wearing black suits work to cover up any UFO sighting.

Luna recounted one official trip as part of a congressional delegation (CODEL) to interview a whistleblower. Throughout the trip, she said government agencies -- specifically the Pentagon and the CIA -- had tried to derail the intreview or were shadowing the delegation which included Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (FL-01).

"Why would [the] Intelligence Agency need to be there on a meeting for whistleblowers?" the 34-year-old representative expressed.

Luna then added that based on her investigations, she believes that while UFOs may not necessarily be "biological entity from another planet," they certainly are not from humans.

"I can tell you, based on my investigations, not in a classified setting, that I absolutely believe that there is things that are advanced technologies not of human origin," she told host Grant Mitterlehner.

The House has been pressing the Pentagon for more transparency on UAPs in light of a 2023 whistleblower testimony by David Grusch who said government agnecies have been withholding information from the public. A July hearing also had three former Defense Department officials say UFO sightings could pose national security risks.

In January, lawmakers held a classified briefings on UAPs but some were not satisified with the very limited information that was provided by Thomas Monheim, inspector general of the intelligence community.
