Brad Pitt is reportedly "trying to move on" from the drama involving his ex-wife Angelina Jolie amid their legal battle.

Pitt, who shares six children -- Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15 -- with Jolie, is reportedly directing and dedicating his attention to his career and his new girlfriend Ines de Ramon, as told by a source to People.

"It's been very stressful for him to have to defend over and over again. But since things don't seem to change, he's trying to move on with his life," the source claimed.

This comes after reports claimed the ex-couple's 17-year-old daughter was planning to move in with her dad when she turns 18 in May.

"Shiloh isn't unhappy at Angelina's, but she's turning 18 soon and wants to shake things up. Plus, she adores Brad and has always been daddy's little girl," a source said.

"Naturally, Angelina wasn't happy, but she knows Shiloh is a woman now and can make her own decisions. It helps that Brad lives a mere few blocks from Angelina's $25 million compound. Shiloh can walk over at any time to see Angie and her brothers and sisters," added the source.

In another report, however, the "By The Sea" stars' eldest biological child allegedly does not want to take sides amid her parents' issues.

"[Shiloh] loves both her parents, and while she understands things will always be different, her dream is to see them become friends."

Last week, the 48-year-old actress claimed in new court papers that her ex-husband had been physically and emotionally abusive even before the private jet incident in 2016 where the actor allegedly brought the actress to the back of the plane, grabbed her head and shoulders, shook her and yelled, "You're f***ing up this family."

"Pitt's history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family's plane trip from France to Los Angeles... this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well," indicated the newly released court papers.

The "Bullet Train" actor denied all the allegations and was not charged after the FBI probed into the incident.
