Josh Duhamel Calls Fergie a 'Great Mom'
During the podcast, Duhamel described Fergie as "very wholesome" and praised her as a parent, PageSix reported.
"She's a great mom. Very kind, very nonconfrontational, thank God. We have a good relationship," he said. He also shared that Fergie and his current wife, Audra Mari, get along well.
Duhamel compared the two women carefully, noting that while they are "very different in a lot of ways," they are "both really great women." His tone was calm and thoughtful, as if he had spent years making peace with the past.
After his split from Fergie, Duhamel began dating Mari in 2019. The couple married in North Dakota in 2022 and welcomed a son, Shepherd, in 2024.
In recent interviews, Duhamel has shared that he prefers a quieter life away from Hollywood events, something he has said played a role in his earlier relationship struggles.
Looking back, Duhamel emphasized that there was no major scandal behind the breakup. In a previous interview, he said there "wasn't anything wrong" but that they "kind of outgrew each other."
He also admitted he never felt fully comfortable with the spotlight that came with Fergie's global fame.
