Gibson has been one of the most torn up of the cast members of the Fast and Furious franchise since Walker's death in November last year. The actor spoke to The Insider about the filming whatever's left. While talking of prepping to get back in front of the camera next month, Gibson admitted that it was going to extremely tough on him.

"There's really no way to prepare for it, you know. Crazy thing is, I pulled out a photo album last night, and I got all of these pictures from when we first did '2 Fast 2 Furious' over 10 years ago," the actor said. "You would never ever think, one day he's not going to be there anymore. ... It's going to be a little rough, but I think at the end of the day, Paul would want us all to keep going."

Gibson also revealed that a major chunk of the film had already been shot, about 85 percent.
After Walker's death, the fate of the seventh installment in the franchise was in a state of flux, with early reports canning the project altogether. But as the rest of the filming is set to resume in April, all seems to be back on track.

Gibson, who was one of Walker's closest friends from the cast, spoke with Queen Latifah earlier this month about what Walker's wishes might have been when it came to the film.

"We (the cast) just want y'all to know that Paul was so passionate about Fast & the Furious. There's no way he would want the (Fast & the Furious) franchise to shut down because the movie is successful for a reason," he said.

Gibson also gave another reason for why the for why the franchise needs to keep going.

"If you all could just show up and look at somebody in the movie that you identify with... the global impact of the movie must continue on behalf of the franchise," he added.

Gibson has been grateful for all the support from friends and family after the tragic incident, and he reiterated hs thankfullness while talking to Latifah.

"Thank you all for all your prayers and energy that you all sent towards the family as well as us (the cast). A lot of times we take people praying for us for granted," he said. "But we have been able to find our smile again and kind of have our spirits come up after losing someone that we all adored. We adored Paul Walker. He was just a great guy," Gibson said.
