Paris Hilton has made headlines again for making offensive comments.

The hotel heiress is catching flak from the gay community after she stated she thinks gay men are "disgusting" and "the horniest guys in the world."

Hilton made the offensive remarks while sharing a cab ride with a gay male model on Sept. 7 in New York City during Fashion Week. When Hilton's friend discussed a popular mobile app where gay men meet each other to arrange sexual trysts, the cab driver secretly recorded their conversation.

In the 50-second audio clip posted on Radar Online, the openly gay male initiated the conversation about the way gay men meet for random hook-ups through the mobile app Grindr.

"Say I log into Grindr, someone that's on Grindr can be in that building and it tells you all the locations of where they are and you can be like, 'Yo, you wanna f**k?' and he might be on like, 'the sixth floor,' " the unidentified male friend said.

"Ewww. Eww. To get f**ked?" Hilton replied. "Gay guys are the horniest people in the world...They're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS."

"I would be so scared if I were a gay guy," the 31-year-old added. "You'll like, die of AIDS."

The unidentified driver who recorded the comments later told Radar Online, "I couldn't believe what was coming out of Paris' mouth and the way she was talking about gay men."

Hilton's publicist issued a statement to defend the offensive remarks.

"Paris Hilton's comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease. The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex. He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers," the statement included. "Her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver...only provided a portion of the conversation. Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone's sexual orientation."
